Sick of the dry weather yet?
Probably not, since it’s only been a couple days “rain free” here in the Finger Lakes.
But the forecast for this week looks impressive. Temperatures are going to warm throughout — and some humidity may have a chance to build in, but significant rainfall looks days, if not nearly a week away.
FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil said in an update Monday morning that there is a very slight risk for an afternoon shower or thunderstorm on Tuesday, but that the risk is very minimal. The region should remain dry, at least until Wednesday and Thursday — when humidity will build back into the area.
Even that humidity, which will push temperatures upward — will not be enough to create any worry on the rain front. The next significant shot of rainfall looks like Friday.
